5 Top Tips to stay on top of your health this silly season!

Keeping Healthy during the Christmas season is usually the furthest thing from our minds especially when faced with the wide array of food and drinks on a daily basis and the temptation to sit and do .... well not much.


So sure, go ahead and enjoy, after all it only comes once a year.


But my advice.... keep in mind these few basic tips and you’ll make it through the season without too much repair afterwards.


1. KEEP YOUR FLUIDS UP.

Aim to drink 6-8 glasses of water a day.


2. EVERYTHING IN MODERATION.

Consider your portion sizes and try and avoid over-indulging.


3. KEEP MOVING.

Ideally 10 000 steps a day. Or a cricket game with the kids, frisbee in the park with the dog or a dance off to your favourite Christmas music.


4. A HEALTHY MINDSET.

Laugh!!! Laughter is good medicine for the soul. Catch up with old friends and call your Mum.


5. BEAUTY SLEEP

It’s not a myth. Sleep is good for you.
